Yellow Cab San Antonio Transportation Company, its affiliates and their services (referred to collectively in this Privacy Policy as the “Company”) respect the privacy of every individual who visits and/or interacts with its websites and social media accounts. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines the information the Company may collect from visitors and how we may use and disclose that information.

What personal information do we collect and why do we collect it?

The Company may collect personal information about you (such as your name, postal address, telephone number and email address) that you provide voluntarily via certain sections of our websites that require such information in order to dispatch service to you or provide promotional services. If you choose to contact us to ask a question or provide a comment or customer feedback, or complete a survey, the Company will collect your personal information so that it can respond to your question or feedback. Furthermore, the websites contains links to other sites, including sites the Company’s social media accounts and websites maintained by our corporate partners for the provision of online trip requests and other services. Please be aware that the Company is not responsible for the privacy practices of its partners’ websites. The Company encourage you to read the privacy statements of all websites that collect personal information, including but not limited to zTrip™ (used to book a trip online). You agree to the terms of service of any third parties’ apps downloaded from the Company’s websites by download of such apps

 

The Company may collect personal information online for all legal purposes, which include, but are not limited to: general corporate marketing purposes, thereby enabling the Company to refine and improve our service and better meet our customers’ needs; resolve disputes; collect fees; troubleshoot problems; enforce the Company’s policies; prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities; and games, contests and promotions. The Company may offer games, contests and other promotional activities that may require online registration. Persons wishing to participate in those activities are asked to provide certain personal information. Some of the information requested for this purpose is optional, but other information, such as email address, is mandatory because it will be needed to notify and identify winners. Also, some activities may require the selection of a user ID and password by the participating individual. The Company also may offer you the opportunity to provide you with email updates and announcements concerning our products and special promotions. Personal information you have provided to the Company may be used to facilitate those communications. Special Note for Parents

The Company does not attempt to collect personal information from children, but cannot always determine if an user of its websites is a child. The Company takes seriously its obligations under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act concerning the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13. Where appropriate, the Company will specifically instruct children not to submit personal information to our websites and/or will take reasonable steps to ensure that we obtain parental consent to such submission. What other information do we collect?

When you access and interact with one of our websites, we may collect certain information often referred to as “clickstream data.” Such data may include IP address, the type and version of Internet browser and operating system you are using, referring URLs and search engines and specified search strings, the pages and information you accessed on our websites, and the total time spent on our websites.
